Join Hope Alliance for a Life-Changing Vision Expedition to Lake Atitlán, Guatemala, February 27 – March 9, 2026

Step beyond the ordinary and become part of something bigger than yourself on a transformative journey to Guatemala. From the colonial charm of Antigua to the breathtaking beauty of Lake Atitlán, this expedition offers a unique blend of service, cultural immersion and adventure.
The Guatemala Experience:
Start in Antigua: Begin your journey in the stunning city of Antigua, known for its vibrant markets, colorful architecture, and surrounding volcanoes. It’s the perfect backdrop to set the tone for the meaningful work ahead.
Vision Clinics: From Monday to Friday, you’ll work with local community members to bring the gift of sight to communities around Lake Atitlán. With each vision test and every pair of glasses distributed, you’ll witness firsthand the joy and gratitude of those who have been without clear vision—knowing that your efforts are making a lasting difference.
Free Time in Santiago: After an impactful week, Saturday morning is a time for rest and exploration. Spend time in Santiago Atitlán, soaking in the local culture, hiking near volcanoes, or relaxing by the shores of this mystical lake.
Free time in Antigua: On Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday, we will have an opportunity in Antigua to explore, reflect and celebrate before departing to Guatemala City very early Monday for return flights to the U.S.
This expedition is more than just a trip. It’s a chance to be part of a mission that stretches far beyond yourself. As you help restore vision, you’ll connect deeply with the people you serve, the volunteers around you, and the incredible landscapes of Guatemala. Together, we can make a tangible impact that brings light and hope to those in need.
Be part of something bigger. Join us on this unforgettable journey.
