Mexico Vision Expedition
Mexico 2026 Expedition
Mexico, a land of vibrant traditions and breathtaking landscapes, is a nation shaped by ancient civilizations, rich culture, and enduring history. Located in North America, it gained independence in 1821, yet the legacies of the Maya, Aztec, and other Indigenous peoples continue to influence its identity today. Equally defining are Mexico’s people, whose warmth, creativity, hospitality, and strong sense of family make the country lively, welcoming, and deeply human.

Hope Alliance partners with the Puerto Peñasco Rotary Club to provide pop-up vision clinics for communities where access to eye care is limited or unavailable. Clinic days are long and meaningful, often serving hundreds of patients in need of glasses, screenings, and compassionate care. Along the way, we travel through local neighborhoods and rural areas, adapting each day to new clinic locations such as schools, community buildings, churches, or other shared spaces. This is not a tourist trip, but a deeply authentic experience that brings you face-to-face with the warmth, resilience, and hope of the Mexican people. Witnessing someone see clearly for the first time is a profoundly powerful and life-changing experience.
